So, for the New Year, it is my pleasure to have Davis Robles on board as my intern. He is overseeing the newsletter for a few weeks. I am happy to have him.

Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing Davis Robles.

AN INTERN’S TAKE ON FASHION

It's Marty Supreme

By Davis Robles

On December 3, 2025, A24 Studios released the first official trailer for the 2025 sports drama Marty Supreme, starring Timothée Chalamet as the titular character, Marty Mauser.

The trailer would garner 25 million views on YouTube, building anticipation for the film.

However, the biggest factor in the film's hype wasn’t the trailer, but Chalamet's public wardrobe.

During the Marty Supreme press tour, Chalamet was actively spotted wearing a '90s-inspired blue and black bomber jacket with “Marty Supreme” printed on the front, alongside three orange stars under the film’s title.

Chalamet would soon go viral online for his retro-styled jacket, prompting fans and celebrities alike to purchase their own Marty Supreme bomber jackets, including Tom Brady, Kid Cudi, and Justin Bieber.

This trend would soon reach its peak when Chalamet announced on his Instagram story that he would be greeting fans at a pop-up shop located on Grand Street, where they would be selling official Marty Supreme bombers.

The pop-up would soon have a line that spanned blocks away from the official store front and would quickly sell out of supply.

Chalamet's use of his wardrobe to express his excitement for the film draws fans to replicate his style and further bridges the gap between film and fashion.

A SINGULAR TAKE ON FASHION

ONE COAT

By Jonathan Nelson

As the leaves change color and the temperatures drop, fall becomes all about layering to stay comfortable and stylish.

However, with the right piece, you can simplify your wardrobe.

Enter the versatile jacket—an all-in-one solution that can carry you through the season and into the winter months.

Its ability to adapt to changing weather conditions while maintaining a polished look, making it the number one contender for a “one coat” that works for everything.

Here are three version of the “one coat” that I stand by.

Among the most popular fall options is the change jacket, celebrated for its unmatched versatility.

Designed with a classic silhouette, it can be dressed up for work or paired with casual wear for weekend outings.

Its lightweight yet durable fabric allows it to be layered

easily over sweaters or under heavier coats as winter approaches.

This makes the change jacket the ultimate all-season staple, giving you stylish flexibility without the bulk—a perfect investment for those seeking a single coat that transitions seamlessly from fall to winter.

Denim Jacket

My first choice is always going to be a denim jacket. It’s the cheat code to casual.

Wearing a denim jacket, a shirt and tie and some khakis is the true definition of business and casual.

I would in fact suggest having two denim jackets.

One that fits perfectly and one that sizes up.

Wear the larger jacket with a sweater or hoodie underneath it.

Its versatility allows it to seamlessly layer over complements a wide range of outfits, from jeans and boots to skirts and scarves.

It is an essential piece for transitioning through the unpredictable weather of the season.

Its relaxed yet chic vibe makes it perfect for everything from weekend errands to outdoor gatherings, making it a perennial favorite during fall.

Bomber Jacket

Another great option is the bomber jacket, which combines sporty function with military-inspired style.

Originating from military attire, bomber jackets have evolved into a fashionable statement piece, perfect for adding an edge to your fall wardrobe.

Typically crafted with nylon or leather, they offer a lightweight layer that’s easy to style with jeans, skirts, or joggers.

Their rugged, utilitarian roots give them a timeless appeal that balances practicality with trendiness.

Whether for a casual day out or a night look, the bomber jacket remains a top contender for effortless, stylish cool.

I like ASAP Rocky is often wearing a bomber with a shirt and tie.

The mix of street and dress to impress is a great contrast.

You can also go from the gym to a dinner and not look out of place with a black bomber jacket.

It does have to be a designer brand, but some designer brands have bomber jackets that

have an upscale appeal.

Trench Coat

Finally, the trench coat stands out as a quintessential fall essential—and for good reason.

Its classic silhouette that’s ideal for layering.

You can wear it over sweaters, hoodies, or even a turtleneck, making it adaptable to fluctuating temperatures.

Its longer length offers additional coverage and warmth, while its timeless style elevates any outfit.

Whether belted for a polished look or left open for a more relaxed vibe, the trench coat is a versatile, season-proof piece that many rely on to navigate fall’s changing weather with ease and elegance.

If it is getting too cold, keep a scarf with you when you are wearing a trench.
